DETAILS:

1. This investigation is opened at the direction of the District Commander predicated upon information furnished this District by Mr. and Mrs. [redacted], who reported sighting an aerial phenomenon on 30 June 1952.

AT WILLIAMS AIR FORCE BASE, ARIZONA

2. On 1 July 1952, Mr. and Mrs. [redacted] reported to the writer that they were driving on 35th Avenue (Lateral #15) outside Phoenix, Arizona, at about 2100 hours, 30 June 1952, when they suddenly became aware of a light of unusual brilliance about 45° above the horizon and in an easterl

Approximately 10:57 p.m., C.S.T. in this date a fine fireball, which evidently began southeast of Milwaukee, passed to the east of the city and ended over central Wisconsin. E. A. Halbach of Milwaukee promptly requested reports through the press. Of the hundred or more received, the better ones were followed up by him, some by personal interviews.
