On 8 Jul 64 Tjgt David Moody received a call from Lt Scott, Base PIO, Ellsworth AFB, Rapid City, South Dakota. Two reports of a UFO's were called in to the local TV station. One by a tourist the other by a local resident. Names of the two witnesses were not given. The sighting occurred at 0520 local time. Object described as looking like a rocket with a green tail by the tourist. The resident said that the object came from the SouthEast and had a bluish glow.
