I have no way of starting this letter but from information in a book called "Flying Saucers From Outer Space" by Donald Keyes there is a technical info sheet in the appendix I'll start from there.

I was watching a television movie at the time. Our safe sits across the room from a picture window. I happen to not use

red light - it sick and thought it was a low plane at first.
Our walls are painted a flamingo color and there were 2 end table lights lit. There was quite a bit of reflection from the walls on the window, so for me to see though the color reflected in the window the light was bright enough to attract my attention.
