Harold Brown,
Air Force Secty.
Washington, D.C.

Dear Mr. Brown: last Summer, one Sunday morning I was driving from Dallas to Sherman and between or just beyond Melissa, and I was looking straight ahead toward the Sherman Air field when I saw a saucer type plane make a U turn. I was facing the air field at Sherman and gave it light that I did mention it to Mr. [illegible]. Who was riding in the front seat with me, he watched and in about 7 or 8 minutes he saw the same plane or another little it make a U turn, same color & same size. I did not see

and gave it little thought. The plane
manivured with little trouble
and I could see the advantage
of such a ship, it made the
14 to 1/4 space it would
take a conventional jet. It
seemed to be shaped like an
ambulla and looked like it was about
12 to 18 ft at the thickest point.
I saw no lights, exhaust or
windows

4-19
Drab green color

about 11 A.M.
125 to 140

The plane came in this form
coming S.
Then made a U turn

R. U. Turn

Then levelled off
in this shape
Then returned North.
This was over, the air field
at Sherman so I dropped the
matter.

Sincerely Yours
Rev
