Sir:

At this belated date I write to thank you kindly for your
good letter of 7 MAR 1955. Yours was in response to mine of
31 January 1955, to the Air Adjutant General, requesting permission
to land on T-3. As you will know, we did not do so.

This letter is re two other points, unrelated to above.

Point 1 On the 17 APR 1958, while on duty as mydrographer on
the Colorado River (Ariz), for the U S Geological Survey, at the
mouth of Bright Angel Creek in the mile deep Grand Canyon, the

Dear Mr. [redacted]

The Air Technical Intelligence Center agrees that your
sighting of 17 April 1958 was a fireball.

In regard to Mr. [redacted] sighting of a cylindrical object
executing right-angle turns, I am inclosing United States Air
Force Technical Information Sheet which should be completed by
Mr. [redacted] and submitted to the Air Technical Intelligence Center,
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio. When the Center
has complete information with regard to Mr. [redacted]'s sighting,
they will attempt to analyse and/or evaluate th
