1. We have received a letter from Mrs [redacted]. Mrs [redacted] has observed many objects in the sky during the past year. Some of these objects are characteristic of satellites. The luminosity of a satellite is very similar in appearance to a star. The motion of these objects over the state of New York will be to the Northeast or Southeast. The duration of the observation should not exceed ten minutes and may be as little as two or three. As the satellite approaches astronomical objects such as stars, planets, or the moon, it m

as to the exact cause. In over 10,000 reports of unidentified objects no one has been harmed by the object itself. We assure you that these phenomenon have logical explanations and present themselves as conventional objects or natural phenomenon viewed under unusual conditions or circumstances.

Dear Sir,

I hesitate to report what I've seen out here but in view of the latest developments I feel it my duty to help your department. However, I insist on no publicity.

I live in Lotus Bay Colony Irving, N.Y. - it is a lake area - private. For over a year now I have been noticing very strange things happening in the sky. I have seen up to 4 objects at one time. The first time I noticed anything was on night about 3 A.M. when I was unable to sleep. I noticed the dipper had 8 stars in it as I watched, one of the "stars" started moving around, up &amp; down M N - sideways - F F G &amp; ke

turned around when it stopped one is deserted field. In the middle of October, I went to the local store &amp; noticed a very low large yellowish blob hovering in the sky. This object followed me home &amp; was very, very, low - and seemed to hover over the deserted Estate. My daughter went over to the woods &amp; noticed damage to some trees but I never bothered to pursue them to see if Mr. , the caretaker, had any explanation of the tree damage. This object can move on stop suddenly, is noiseless, &amp; resembles a fireball but what fireball can maneuver like this? Also, the "stare" that non
