1. Reference paragraph 14, AFR 200-2, 20 July 1962. The following report of an unidentified flying object is submitted (Attachments 1 and 2).

2. Reporting officer is Lt Col Lester Bridges, Chief, Operations Services Division, Keesler Technical Training Center, Keesler AFB, Mississippi. Preliminary analysis indicates the cause and identity of the object reported was an aircraft, ty

UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT (UFO) (Report of A1C Joseph H. Lyle and A2C John R. Seburn)

In accordance with paragraph 14, AFR 200-2, 20 July 1962, the following report is given:

a. Description of the Object:

(1) Shape - Could not distinguish shape.
(2) Size - Could not distinguish size.
(3) Color - Whitish Gray.
(4) Number - One.
(5) Formation - N/A.
(6) Any discernible features or details - No.
(7) Tail, trail or exhaust - Only contrail.
(8) Sound - None.
(9) Other pertinent features - Seemed like contrails coming from a plane which could not be seen.

(1) A1C Joseph H. Lyle and A2C John E. Seburn - USAF Hospital - Dental Technicians - Reliability: Both airmen according to their supervisor are dependable and reliable and are not given to making false statements.

In accordance with paragraph 14, AFR 200-2, 20 July 1962, the following report is given:

a. Description of the Object:

(1) Shape - Indescribable - Appeared to be a high flying aircraft leaving fluorescent control. Object was not visible.

(2) Size compared to a known object - Unknown.

(3) Color - Solid bright white control.

(4) Number - One.

(5) Formation - N/A.

(6) Any discernible features or details - No.

(7) Tail, trail or exhaust - Fluorescent control glowed for a long time.

(8) Sound - None.

(9) Other pertinent features
