This is to acknowledge your letter of 7 April 1960 regarding the sighting of an unidentified flying object.

Your letter contains insufficient information for a valid conclusion. Therefore request you and Herb Green each complete the attached Air Force Questionnaire in regard to the sighting and forward the completed papers to the Aerospace Technical Intelligence Center, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio for analysis and evaluation.

Low flying object about 2 to 3 miles above the earth - orbiting to the northeast - at very high speeds. No sound, and under a fairly cloudy area - The speed was faster than anything I've ever seen! No particular color, like a small meteor. It started above our heads and went to the northeast at very high supersonic speeds. The ones who saw it were as falling

~~checked for the nearest satellite~~ it was supposed to have burned up in December, 1959, but was not sighted.
