REPORT OF UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECT

1. Description of the object:
a. As seen edge-on, the object appeared to be thin and wide, tapered on either end as shown below:
Later on, the object appeared to bank left and presented the following appearance:
b. Although the object was reported to be about the size of a present day jet fighter, it is estimated that this would be the equivalent of a silver dollar held at arms length. The observer seemed very positive that the flying object couldn't have been more than 100 yards away from him at any time.

foot off the ground and was about 100 yards away from him. He seemed to
be quite sure of this range to the object and swears that it was never
more than about 100 yards from him the entire time. As soon as he saw
the object, he was so frightened that he braked his car to a halt and sat
there and watched it in the facilitation.

b. He gave no elevation angle on the object; however, he first saw
it through his right hand window, so the object must have been very low
to the ground.

c. The object finally returned to approximately the same position
where it was first sighted, then suddenly zoomed

Mr. states that it was a beautiful day. No clouds and visibility unlit. It was still fairly cool, although he did state that later on in the day it was very hot. There was little or no wind.
