2. The following UFO sighting was reported to the Space Systems Division Command Post at 2200 hours, 1 October 1965:

a. Description: Three objects, mother ship plus two, with changing colors and humming sound.

b. Course: General maneuvering for over an hour.

The following was extracted from the SSD Staff Duty Officer's Report for the period 1630 1 Oct 65 to 0800 2 Oct 65:

" UFO - Woman reported sighting by husband. Declined to give name and terminated call. 1910 hrs. Sighted earlier in the day.

Manhattan Place, L. A., age 15; student, phone nr: [redacted]; a. Appeared as star moving rapidly 1928. 1930 hrs, 1 Oct. Observed for '5 minutes.' Inspected thru binoculars. Path not straight line - appeared to travel in an arc. Apparently extreme altitude. 'Looked like star moving very
