SUBJECT: Unidentified Flying Object

TO: Operations Services Division

1. On 4 Nov 60 a call from the Secretary of Champaign T.V. station reported two UFO calls were received from Monticello citizens. Investigation of the reports revealed the following:

2. Description of Objects:
a. Objects were described as round flat discs.
b. Size of objects approximate a bushel basket held at arms length.
c. Two objects observed.
d. Appeared as trailing

f. Object disappeared suddenly as in a short burst to the northward.

4. Manner of Observation:
a. Objects were observed by naked eye.

5. Time and Date of Sighting:
a. Time of observation was 0250Z on the 3rd day of Nov 60.
b. Sky conditions at time of sighting was dark and cloudy near objects and clear sky in opposite quadrant.

6. Location of Observers:
Sighting was at Monticello, Illinois on Route 47. Coordinates are 40 degrees 02 minutes north and 88 degrees 34 minutes west.

7. Identifying Information on Observers:
a. Observers were two civilians.
b. Mrs. [redacted] 25 years of age lives
