Dear Sir:

I don't know if we are sending this letter to the right party or not, if not would you please send it on for us.

A few of the U.S. families here got together for a fish bake last night and observed a bright object in the sky traveling N-NE its elevation could not be determined however it was fairly close to earth in comparison to the moon or stars. The time we first saw this object was 7:00 PM and 2:18 PM.

by 2:05pm it was out of sight.
This is local time. Our location is Maracaibo Venezuela.
The date was November 12, 1960
Our question is what was it?
Thanking you in advance.
