15 December [redacted], Dayton, Ohio called to report a peculiar phenomenon in the sky. She spotted a big red ball in the sky at 12:30. The object kept disappearing and coming back. She said it had a saucer appearance. She watched it for about 1/2 hour. It was cloudy. She estimated it to be less than 45 degrees above the horizon.
