4 December 1965

of , Dayton, Ohio called to report an unidentified flying object. The duration was a few seconds. He was looking toward the North and the object was heading Northeast. It was in level flight. It was grayish in color. It was longer from side to side. There was no noise. There was a jet plane which left a vapor trail. This object went ahead of the jet with no smoke or contrails. It flew out of sight.

on 4 January a satellite, ECHO I, passed North of Cincinnati at 52 degrees elevation heading Southeast. This placed the satellite path in the area which you observed. The description contained in
