## SWORN STATEMENT

I, Laurence R. Leach, Capt. USAF AO 929684
6161A.5.11.0P0328 fully understand my rights under the 31st Article, USNJ, make the following statement:

I was pilot of a C 47 type aircraft on 1 August 1952 at 0710 Zebra when suddenly I saw a round blue-white object off the left wing of the aircraft. The weather was clear and stable and all conditions normal until suddenly the cockpit lit up which alerted myself and

(1) Description is a round blue-white object with trail traveling at a terrific rate of speed. No size could be determined. No sound was noted. The object remained in vision for approximately two seconds and suddenly disappeared.

(2) Time of sighting was 1 August 1952 at 0710 Zebra for approximately two seconds.
