SUBJECT: Sighting of Unidentified Flying Object or Light

TO: Commanding General
Fourteenth Air Force
Robins Air Force Base, Georgia

1. The following information is submitted regarding the sighting of an unidentified object or light by a number of persons at Dobbins Air Force Base between 2200 and 2300 hours, 2 February 1951.

a. Number of objects sighted: one.

b. Location, altitude and time of sighting: Observers estimated object or light to be locat

g. Efforts to make radar pick-up of object: APQ-13 radar operator, saw the object with eyes then attempted to make radar pick up. He failed to make a successful radar pick up. However, he stated that the object was at a very low angle in addition to there being a quantity of ground interference in the local area.

h. Other pertinent data: A Navy pilot, VS-22 NAS, Norfolk, Va., was en route the same evening from Norfolk NAS to Atlanta when he picked up a radio call near Greenville, S. C., from an unidentified Air Force airc
