Dear Major Quintonella,

My husband and I were most pleased to see the article in L.F.E. about Project Bluebook. Until we received this magazine, today we had resigned ourselves to never finding out just what we really did see last Sunday night on our way home from the City (Fall River, Mass.)

We simply decided that the huge brilliant orange present-shaped moon we followed would be our secret. - Who would believe us? Most people we know would just laugh as if we were crazy. Still who ever heard of just such a "moon" at midnight on

Could you help us decide
on what we saw? We would
appreciate any information
you might send us.

We're not kooks with dirty,
long hair and bonios. We're
not looking for notoriety, or
making up a wild tale. We
honestly saw this.

A picture in the "Life"
has the same brilliant orange
color, but what we saw was
in a vertical position, and
very definitely present - shaped.
As we faced it, the right side
was very smooth; the left irregular.
We saw no green lights
or flashing colors yet.

Thank you very much
for any clarification you may give
us.

Sincerely yours
Mrs. [illegible]

Eastern border of Somerset???
We were fascinated. Instead
of turning off of the highway
on our street, we drove to the
barest, openest spot in town.
At the end of a barren beach
we have a long road to a boat
lamp. - Here we again
saw this present practically
setting on the treetops ahead of
us on the far shore line.
Then - - just like the setting
furn, this beautiful ? object slipped
over the edge of the horizon
