Mounstown, New Jersey 08037 April 1, 1966 United States Air Force Washington, D.C. Gentlemen: On March 31, 1966 at approximately 8:45 P.M., I was taking down our trash cans. I looked up in the sky and saw what appeared to be an airplane. It had a giant red light on the tail end. But it made no sound whatsoever. It was headed north to south. After I checked my senses I relieved I was looking at a U.S.O. I have read all about them. One time I sent to you asking for information. You sent me Blue Book, 1 February 1966. I re-sad this. I hope my report was clear enough so that you can get an evaluation. Here are some statistics about it in summary form: 1. direction - north to south 2. est. speed - about 30 mph. ☑ 3. est. height - 100 feet ☑ 4. area - Moorestown, New Jersey, over my house. 5. time ≈ 8:45 P.M. 6. size - 60 feet across (diameter) Frankly I'm scared.
