Miami, Fla Exho I August 11, 1964 Dear Mr. [redacted] This is in reply to your letter of August 3, 1964, addressed to NASA, concerning a satellite you have recently observed on several successive evenings. ECRO I was in passage over the Miami area on July 28th at 8:20 p.m., EST; July 29th, 9:11 p.m., EST; July 30th at 7:52 p.m., EST and again at 10 p.m., EST; July 31st at 8:43 p.m., EST; August 1st at 7:24 p.m., EST and again at 9:32 p.m., EST, and on August 2nd at 8:15 p.m., EST. August 3, 1964 Miami 50, Florida R. A. B. O. Washington 25, D.C. Dear Sir: For the past five or six nights I have seen a satellite, I what I thought to be a satellite go over my house. It traveled from south to north between the hours of eight and nine at night. I have never heard of a satellite passing over the same spot several nights in a row.
