I. The Weather Section at Berksdale Air Force Base has a scheduled weather
believe release at approximately 2100 hours each day. Information available indicates
that this billion release is not always made exactly as the scheduled hour
but may vary as much as one hour either way. This is the only known possible
activity in the area that might account for these sightings.

At approximately 2000 hours 24 August 1952 I was standing on the parking lot in rear of hangar #8, Barksdale Air Force Base, then someone called my attention to a bright starlike light in the sky moving at a high rate of speed from West to East. Suddenly it stopped dead still and remained in one position for about two minutes. Then it took off again going due North. It stopped again and just seemed to hang in the air for about five minutes and began moving again, slowly this time, retrieving its course

# STATEMENT

Begley morning, 2130 hours, 24 August 1938, my wife and I observed a moving
white light for approximately three to five minutes. It appeared to be between
700 and 8000 feet above the ground. During the period of observation it did not
rise, but on one or two occasions seemed to descend a hundred or more feet.

The light was steady and unblinking. It was not a ray, as a flashlight or
a landing light. It appeared not unlike an unglabed electric light b

After returning from a forum mission to Corpus Christi, Texas, one of the pilots of our crew, (illegible) (illegible) Col. Air Refueling Squadron, called me to come to the northeast corner of hanger #9. When I arrived there he pointed out a group of three stars to the south that formed a triangle and then to what I took for another star at the lower left hand corner of the group.
