1. On 9 July 1949 at Tiyarial Island, while being in the area, I made a list of the following:
about one-half (1/2) mile from the Surveyor, the area, and about a "terrible" whistling noise "like a rifle bullet", but rather one. After looking for the cause of the sound for about a minute, I was directly overhead air (6) or seven (7) Mark objects travelling very fast in a sound-poutheast direction. He watched the
