1. This investigation is predicated upon AFCSI Letter No. 85, dated 12 August 1949.

AT KIRTLAND AIR FORCE BASE, NEW MEXICO

2. The following is information received from Lt Col JOHN A. CARROLL, Chief Inspector, Los Alamos, New Mexico, which was received by him from observers

all of Los Alamos, New Mexico:
