Dear Sir:

This morning at 6:30 we watched two shiny streaks of light in the eastern sky over the abattoir. They were not clouds nor plinds. They were sighted at a 40° angle with the lower tip towards the north. They remained in this sighting position and seemed to be traveling towards the northeast. They moved very slowly, sometimes stopping. Always keeping the same distance between them, one higher and in back of the other one. (1) Shape. Like streaks of light on a slant, the lower one in front was smaller.
(2) Size compared to a known object (Use one of the following terms: Head of a pin, pea, dime, nickel, quarter, half dollar, silver dollar, baseball, grapefruit, or basketball) held in the hand at about arm's length.
The smallest one the size of a dime held at arm's length. The larger one about twice that size.
