STATEMENT

At 9:06, 7 August 1952, my mother took my son out into the back yard to see an airplane coming from the West. While watching the plane, she noticed a large, round object in the sky moving at a very fast rate of speed. It came from the West, made a U-Turn and disappeared, somewhat like a light being turned out. My mother then turned and saw another in the North heading South moving slowly. As it moved along it seemed to gather speed and disappeared in the same manner as the first. Mother came in and told me about them and we both went out to see them. A third object appeared from the

(1) Objects were round and disc-shaped, appeared to be approximately eighteen inches in diameter (actual size), and gave off a color resembling metal that had been heated to a white heat. There were four objects (for reference and clarity labeled 1, 2, 3, and 4.) and were observed singularly with the exception of objects three and four. Objects three and four flew no formation

4 ROUND, UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS THAT GAVE OFF COLOR SIMILAR TO WHITE-HOT METAL, WERE OBSERVED 0908 HOURS, CST, 7 AUG 52, FLYING OVER SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS. OBJECTS APPEARED APPROXIMATELY 18 INCHES IN DIAMETER, ACTUAL SIZE, AND ALL 4 OBJECTS SIMILAR. OBJECTS WERE OBSERVED SINGULARLY WITH EXCEPTION OF 2, AND AT INTE INTERVALS OF APPROXIMATELY 20 MINUTES. NO AERODYNAMIC FEATURES NOTE
