DETAILS:

1. This investigation is opened at the direction of the District Commander, predicated upon information furnished by DONALD P. DICKASON, Director Security Division, Los Alamos Field Office, concerning the observation of a flight of unidentified aerial objects by DON R. WIENS.

AT LOS ALAMOS, NEW MEXICO

2. On 22 July 1952, at 1050 to 1115 hours, Mr. [redacted], tower operator, 2004 "C" 23d Street, Los Alamos, reported sighting a flight of approximately eight (8) round or elliptical objects from the Los Alamos Air Port tower. WIENS stated the objects were in a Sou

I, J. , pilot employed by Carco Air Service, Albuquerque, New Mexico, do hereby make the following statement:

On July 22nd between 1105 MST and 1130 MST, I happened to be in Los Alamos at the Airport waiting for a flight to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Suddenly, I heard some jet fighters fly over, so along with several other people, I ran out to watch and saw 2 F-86's. One of the men with me (while looking up) happened to catch sight of several objects approximately 8 to 10 in number. These objects seemed to be either a ball or saucer in
