SUBJECT: (Unclassified) Reporting of Information on Unconventional Aircraft

TO: Director of Special Investigations
Headquarters, USAF
Washington 25, D. C.

SUBJECTS:
On 17 April 1952, [redacted], made., and [redacted], from [redacted], that they had changed one (1) unconventional aircraft at approximately 2030 hours on 17 April 1952. No activity or condition developed that accounts for sighting.

RESULTS:
At 2100 hours, 17 April 1952, [redacted], Longneadow, Mass., and [redacted], Longneadow, Mass., reported to Base Operations

the movement as rapid cliche and descents. stated that at times the object became elongated, but commented that he did not believe elongation was an exhaust, but opined that the object was evidently coming toward the observer, and when executing a turn and traveling at right angle of the observer, the true length of the object was even. also, described the movement as erratic, with recent and descent at a very rapid speed. definitely stated that the object was not a star or a metary, and was in continual motion throughout the observation. also said that h

in regard to aircraft or astronomy. stated the object was originally sighted by a neighbor, Dr. [redacted]. Longneview, Mass., who in turn, called [redacted] to observe the object. Both men continued observation of the object for approximately forty (40) minutes, and during that time, [redacted] notified Bato Operations, Westover Air Force Base, of their observations.
