Your sighting on the night of 2 May 1965 is characteristic of a satellite observation. In your diagram, you indicated that the object passed through about thirty degrees of arc before being obscured by a cloud. The duration, reported as 2 minutes 30 seconds, corresponds with the speed of a satellite. We have checked the Echo and Pegasus schedules.
