AT ALAMOGORDO, NEW MEXICO 2. The following information was obtained on a sighting of an unidentified object by the writer on 13 December 1949: a. Date of sighting: 13 December 1949. b. Time of sighting: From 2008 to 2017 hours. c. Where sighted: From ground, traveling in automobile, in a southwesterly direction from Alamogordo, New Mexico, to Holloman AFB, on US Highway No. 70. Lights: The hour preceding this sighting, while in the drive-in theater at Alamogordo, New Mexico, the writer and his sister-in-law, and Mrs. , sighted several (approximately 6) brilliant shooting stars, some appeared to be a light green color and some appeared to travel much slower than others.
