A-83-001-Z-1 BL 11-23-70 Dear Mr. Fuck: I'm sorry that I cannot fill out the attached form since the times and dates of any sightings escape me. I can, however, tell you that during the years 1948 through 1951 several sightings of green lights were made at Los Alamos. These usually occurred during the early part of the night, nine to eleven, and were usually in the Jemez Mountains. I can recall several instances of green lights wraving in and out of mountain peaks. This was all reported to the protective force headquarters and should be a matter of record on their logs. sighted these objects. Another person you might check with is of the Protective Force. Any of the Protective Force Members that was on the "Hill" during the early '50 should recall all the reported sightings during this time. I'm sorry that I can't be of mere help. I'm sure however, if you can obtain access to the pro Force dogs during the above periods that the information can be obtained as to time and dates of the Green light sightings. Good Luck (b) (6)

November 28 Dear Jim: Mindful of your interesting report on ball lightning, I am enclosing comments on same by a UFO believer, James M. McCampbell, in his UFOLOGY, 1976, appearing on the new non-fiction shelf at the Mesa Library, call number 629.1338 M125u. His chapter FLIGHT AND PROPULSION strengthens my conviction that Einstein, while seemingly straying from the main current of physical research in his later years, was on scent like a bloodhound when he persisted in trying to lock in on a unified field theory.
