DYEP 11 August 1964 Investigation - Reported Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) EFRC (FTC) Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433 1. To accordance with AFR 200-2, a detailed investigation of unidentified flying objects reports in the Binghamton, New York area, was conducted by Captain Richard T. Brown and 1st Lieutenant Sidney Frazier on 6 and 7 August 1964. In accordance with AFR 200-2, a detailed investigation of unidentified flying objects reports in the Binghamton, New York area, was conducted by Captain Richard T. the period 30 July to 3 August. These reports consisted mostly of light sightings. None of the reports seemed to be reliable. The investigators contacted approximately 30 persons who provided this type of information. 2. Mr. [redacted], who is an amateur sky watcher and president of the local astronomy club provided the most significant rebuttal to reports in the Binghamton area during the period 28 July to 3 August 1964. Glowing UFO Seen By Norwich Man Press Bureau Norwich—A Norwich engineering executive told data police that he saw an elliptical object hovering near the ground last night. The report came from Lums, Daubert, 23, of 6 Willard Court, Norwich, a superview in the engineering department of Norwich Pharmacist Co. His report was one of three that Norwich area residents reported in connection with unusual sky phenomena last night.
