1. This investigation predicated upon information received from Mr. , Chief, Security Operations, Los Alamos, New Mexico. advised that an aerial phenomena was sighted on 9 January 1950, between the hours of 2220 and 2230.

AT LOS ALAMOS, NEW MEXICO

2. On 10 February 1950, Mr. , Scientist, , Los Alamos, New Mexico, was interviewed and the following information obtained:

- Time and date of sighting - 2226 hrs, 9 Jan 1950
- Point of observation - Sidewalk along westside of Chapel, Los Alamos, New Mexico.
