The Office of the President has asked the Air Force to reply to your letter concerning an unidentified flying object which you both saw in Ashland, Kentucky.

We are unable to determine from your drawings just what it was that you both sighted. We are inclosing two Air Force forms for you to fill out which will give us a better idea of what you observed. If you will answer all the questions you possibly can, and then forward the forms to us, we will have them investigated and advise you of what we find out. Inclosed with these forms is a self-addres
