sighting at time of initial report. Nothing unusual was noticed. The weather was clear, visibility unrestricted and an occasional wisp of fog was encountered. The last report submitted by Mr. [redacted] of an object at 270 degrees may have been a star. The Air Almanac listed a bright star on that heading. Radar scan of the general area was made by Boston Search and Otis RAPCON. No unknown targets were observed. The area was also checked by five scanners on a EC-121 aircraft. 3 May 1964 S T A T E M E N T SUBJECT: Reported UFO 1. At approximately 0103Z, a Mr. [redacted] from North Carver called to report an UFO. He described the object as having 3 revolving beacons (as opposed to flashing or Grimes type), one red, one green and one blue. In addition to the this object, three (3) smaller ones in step formation trailed behind and had the same description as the larger item.
