OBJEERS OVER WEST TEXAS.
AN ELSERLY MASSACHUSETTS WOMAN AND A STEWARDESS SUFFERED MINOR
INJURIES WHEN THE PILOT OF A TWA AIRLINER ENROUTE FROM CHICAGO TO
TUCSON, ARIZ., NOSE-SIVED HIS PLANE 500 FEET TO AVERT A FLYING OBJECT
YESTERDAY.
THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT AT AMARILLO, TEX., FOR
INSPECTION AND TREATMENT OF THE ENJURED PERSONS.

Your attention is invited to a copy of a teletype press release regarding unidentified flying objects. It would be appreciated if a copy of the final report of the investigation in question can be made available to the Air Force.

It is further requested, that as a matter of proposed policy, that the results of any investigations initially involving aircraft and unidentified aerial objects be submitted to this Center. A typical example is the recent Pan American Airline incident over the
