ADDITIONAL REMARKS BY OBSERVER: Immediately following the disappearance of the object I observed a single contrail that suggested a Jet aircraft. The contrail appeared almost directly overhead and on a course of 8E to 1E on a sweeping curve. The contrail was viewed East of the point of disappearance of the "object".
