Hynek spoke with him on 13 May 65 regarding his observation of 17 Jul 64.

was coming back from straits, South of Kulton Lake, heading 220 deg,
flying at altitude of 4500 ft. Out of my eye to the left, 7 o'clock, saw
four lights coming up rapidly about 11pm, first thought it was another airliner,
airliner doesn't look like this, my speed was 150, was just about ready to
change course then they came around the left and gained speed, they just came
up fast, as they approached, two more lights, at

July 14: near Houghton Lake, Mich.: A 23-year old flight instructor reported that a UFO formation followed his airplane for 5 minutes. 6 or 7 bright lights appeared in front and his behind his plane.
