Dear Hayden,

This is in reply to your letters of 10 Sep and 24 Oct 64. We hope that your visit to Wright-Patterson was enlightening. We are sorry that we cannot comply with your request for the complete file folders. These folders not only list the date and location of the sighting and the evaluation but also, the names of principal witnesses. I am sure you will understand our reasons for not releasing these lists.

The statistics provided yearly, contain all of this information other than the names of the

tumble weed rolling down the road and being driven by the wind.
The following conditions indicate this as a possibility. The sighting
occurred at 0600 hours according to your form. The newspaper accounts
state 0500 hours. In either case the sighting occurred at dawn or just
prior to dawn since Mrs. was driving her car with lights on.
Total duration was only five seconds, an extremely short time to notice
the detail indicated. The description of the object was a dull color
like mud or copper, the shape was very smooth, object emitted no sound.

FLYING SAUCER NEARLY HITS AUTOMOBILE: A country road in Oklahoma was the scene of a weird and frightening event which befell Mrs. Karen Campbell on the night of September 11th. She was driving by herself when a UFO at extremely low altitude swerved over her car and went by with a rushing noise. Mrs. Campbell was so scared that she pushed the accelerator to the floor and drove at 90 miles per hour all the way to town. She described the object as about four feet high,
