A copy as been sent to both NICAP (in Washington) and APRO (in Alamogordo, N.M.). In paragraph #5, I said the object could not have been a "conventional aircraft". By this I meant a prop-driven plane. The only known object it might have been is an extremely fast jet aircraft. If it was that, I don't think it was a plane based in this area, as I have never seen a jet in this area travel at that apparent rate of speed. I c…
