Dear Mr. [redacted]

This is in reply to your letter of July 30, 1964, in which you requested information on the name of a satellite which appeared over your area on recent evenings.

Gentlemen:
Last evening (25th) we noted a satellite which traversed from saw to one and about 7-8' west of the zenith.
Our location is Township 22 N., Range 82 E. W. 24th.
Tonight, the same 'star' went over at the zenith at app. 9:20 P. M. still on a SSW to NNE direction.
Would you advise which of the several items going overhead, this one is.
Any advice as to the various visible satellites which may be noted in the early evening, will be appreciated.

Very truly,
