STATEMENT The following statement is submitted in accordance with Paragraph 7c, AF Letter 200-5 dated 29 April 1952. I, Capt. Robert B. Bailey, the pilot of a C-47, on a course of 43 degrees, 7000' altitude and at an indicated airspeed of 170 knots, noticed an unusual object in the vicinity of the Vichy Radio Range Station, which approximated a circular light which, from my position, appeared to be approximately one foot in diameter.
