MEMO FOR THE RECORD: 13 Sep 65 Subj: UFO Report from Will Haden, 414 N Lee St, Odessa, Texas TSgt David Moody spoke with Captain Conkle from Webb AFB, Texas regarding a vague report on a UFO, Captain Conkle had received the report second hand. Mr. was an Ex WWII Pilot. Saw red object with blue border at rear half. Observed for one minute, 2008 local on 12 Sep 65, Central Time. High rate of speed from SSE to NNW. Covered the sky in about one minute. After it went buy heard a blast effect. Captain Conkle requested that we send this gentleman a form to fill out.
