April 21/58 Hamilton Went Can Dear Sir; I am writing to you regarding an object I saw come to earth on Friday April 18th at about 9.30 p.m. I was driving up to my cottage for the weekend. I was going about 50 m.h. on #24 highway, when all of a sudden the road, bush, and field to my right let up bright as day. Looking up I saw a ball of fire coming at 60° angle straight for my car, but it landed to my right back of a small woods about one mile away. news but no report about anything of this nature, when I came home, I reported what I saw to the Royal Canadian Police and Air Force and Provincial Police. They mentioned it might be a balloon or a rocket but it didn't fit, what I saw. So I saw your article in Life, Mar 31/58. So remembered you were working on something, I think this appear to be, so maybe you could let me know what you think it was & were it came from, I seem to be the only one to see the fire works. 4 Last look hills I diming this is a valley top rod only last seen small woods some snow still in woods Car x It might had more rods sticking out from it but sum bright light made it impossible to see, but one at top & bottom, got cooler near ground If it wasn't sow far from home 100 mile about I am sure it could be found the rods or what then were made off, didn't seem to be hot enough to burn up.
