Dear Sir;

I am writing to you regarding an object I saw come to earth on Friday April 18th at about 9.30 p.m. I was driving up to my cottage for the weekend. I was going about 50 m.h. on #24 highway, when all of a sudden the road, bush, and field to my right let up bright as day. Looking up I saw a ball of fire coming at 60° angle straight for my car, but it landed to my right back of a small woods about one mile away. I marked the place on the highway & I went on to my cottage. I turned the radio on for the

They mentioned it might be a balloon or a rocket but it didn't fit, what I saw. So I saw your article in Life, Mar 31/58. So remembered you were working on something, I think this appear to be, so maybe you could let me know what you think it was & were it came from, I seem to be the only one to see the fire works. So everyone thinks I was drunk but I don't drink. I work for Fuller Brush Co. (machinist). Your Truly,
