Dear Sirs,

I am writing this letter to report an Unidentified Flying Object which was observed in New Iberia, La. on July 11. I am sorry about the lateness of the report, but was on vacation at the time.

There was no moon and the sky wasn't too cloudy. There was no wind. My Grandfather called me outside to show me something. He said he had been watching an object or star for an hour when it shot across the sky. He said it had attracted his attention because it seemed to be moving and was three colors (red, white, a

CASE 31 JULY 1963

July 29, 1963

Dear Mr. (illegible)

The Air Force entered into a research and development contract with Avro Aircraft Ltd., of Canada, to study possible military use of what is known as "the ground effect." The test vehicle did have a saucer-like shape due to use of the "ducted fan principle" as a means of propulsion. Over seven million dollars was spent in this area of research and when they completed their work in December 1961, they determined there was no possible military application. Above an altitude of four feet the vehicle was dangerously

Dear Sir,

I would appreciate it very much if you could send me any available information on flying saucers.

Also I have read in a book (published 1956) that the U.S. is developing a saucer in Canada. I would also appreciate it if you could give me information you have available on that.

Thank you for your time and trouble.

Sincerely,

P.S.

If you do not have the information above I would like very much to receive addresses to where I could get such information.
