COPY UNCLASSIFIED On 27 July 1949, salesman, Sears-Roelack and Company, residence, Louisville, Kentucky, was interviewed regarding "FLYING DISC" and stated in substance: At approximately 2100, 27 July 1949, while standing in front of my residence, my attention was attracted to a peculiar and unknown object high in the atmosphere. I was unable to estimate who a prominent altitude, but this object was much higher than any airplane I have ever observed.
