A137P AGAIN CLIMBED TO 9,000' HEADING APPROXIMATELY 220 DEG TO THE WEST OF AND PARALLELING GREEN 6 AIRWAYS. MORE BLINKING WAS SIGHTED OFF EACH WING, CORRESPONDING WITH CONTROLLER'S REPORT OF TWO RETARNS

NEAR THE C-47. LT STEED FURTHER SLATED THAT THE LIGHTS MOVEMENT DID
NOT CORRESPOND TO THE TURNS HE MADE WITH THE AIRCRAFT. THIS PGCELUDES
THE POSSIBILITY OF CONTROLLER HAVING READ A MALFUNCTIONING IFF RETURN
ON THEIR SCOPE. ALSO BOTH CREW MEMBERS FELT SURE THERE WAS AN OB-
JECT PRESENT. NEVER THE LESS, NBR 43 WAS UNABLE TO PARINT ANY ADDITIONAL RETURNS ON THEIR SCOPES.
