e. General Remarks: Object appeared to be traveling too fast to
be an aircraft. It remained in view for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes on a straight
and level course before disappearing from sight. Object estimated to be
8-10 miles from the base.

1. In compliance with ConAC Letter 200-1, dated 25 March 1948, the following information is reported concerning sighting of a "flying disc" at this station.

a. Location and time of sighting: Observed from the ground at Moses Lake Air Force Base, Washington at approximately 0845 hours local time, 23 May 1949.
