SUBJECT: Report of Sighting of Unidentified Flying Object at Dallas, Texas, 16 May 1960

TO: Air Technical Intelligence Center
Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio

1. This installation has received a report of a sighting of an Unidentified Flying Object at Dallas, Texas, on 16 May 1960 between the hours of 2050 and 2100C.

2. In compliance with AFR 200-2, the following information is submitted.

a. Description of the Object:

(1) Shape - Diamond.
(2)

c. Manner of Observation:

(1) Ground-visual.
(2) No optical aids.
(3) Not applicable.

d. Time and Date of Sighting:

(1) 2050 to 2100C hours, 16 May 1960.
(2) Light Conditions - Night (bright moon and starlight)

e. Location of Observer: Metropolitan area, residential.

f. Identifying Information on Observer: Live Oak, Dallas, Texas. Mr. Boulevard, Dallas, Texas, former Agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, advised that reliability was good.

g. Weather and Winds - Clear, bright, unlimited visibility, winds 12 knots at ground level (Furnished by Meteorologist in Charge, United State

k. Position Title - Base Commander. Based on the facts and information indicated above, it is the opinion of the preparing officer that the observer, apparently observed some meteorological or astronomical condition.

1. Existence of physical evidence such as materials and photographs: None. The Commander, 745th AC&W Squadron, Duncanville, Texas, was interviewed pertaining to subject sighting and stated that his unit had not had any reports of this sighting, nor had any radar interceptions been made during the date and time that the sighting of the unidentified flying object is alleged to
