David Fravor is a retired naval pilot and Commander of VFA-41 also known as "The 
Black Aces". He is one of the primary witness in the 2004 USS Nimitz UFO incident. He 
was featured in the 2008 PBS documentary Carrier and has been interviewed on Joe 
Rogan's podcast The Joe Rogan Experience. 
Fravor joined the military at the age of 17. He has a career spanning 24 years, 18 of 
which was as a Navy pilot. He had completed five tours to the Persian Gulf starting after 
Operation Desert Storm. He commanded a squadron of 12 airplanes consisting of 330 
people. Fravor retired in 2006.
