Rising slowly from southern horizon (probably along the coastline) a top-shaped, brightly lighted object, at least twice as large as a plane. I thought we were watching early fireworks. My son went to take a bath, as the object did not seem to move. My daughter & I watched it for another

And myself saw an object going from north to south after checking it out, my barn is in line of Candlewood Point, and we saw object at same time of eve. It was definitely not a falling star! The most brilliant of any thing I have ever seen.
