This office is in receipt of an unidentified flying object report from Mr. [redacted] Road, West Fairview, Pennsylvania. He has requested an evaluation of the object which he observed over West Fairview, Pennsylvania on 20 Jul 65. The speed of the objects and flight characteristics are consistent with conventional aircraft reflecting sunlight. The sighting is carried in the aircraft category for statistical purposes.

Dear Sirs:

On July 20, 1969, at 12:43 pm, while riding my bike in West Fairview, Pa. (across the river from Harrisburg) I saw a round, silver object (like a plate or disk) traveling north of Harrisburg. It was traveling slowly at first, then it made some violent turns and maneuvers as if it were in trouble. Just as it started to loose altitude, it picked up speed, and at an unbelievable speed it headed almost straight up and was out of sight in a second. The object was to fast for a balloon. Was too fast and made too many sharp turns and violent movements for an airplane. And I wasn't seei

because I'm only 12 years old. It was a clear day with only about 8 small clouds. What did I see?
